 A Quick Note
Blog submitted by WilliamSB on Fri 10 Sep 2004 - 12:14 h
Just a quick note for those wondering where everyone went. I spent the week of the RNC outside Madison Square Garden. Afterwards, I needed to take a short break and reflect.

I am not sure where Tim is. I know he is preparing for an internship. I will be tracking him down via email. I apologize to those who made comments while I was away. They have been published now. I am lifting the requirement that comments be reviewed by an Administrator before being published. That way, people can get their thoughts out more quickly. I do ask that those who might be tempted to be obnoxious, don't. The presidential election is only two weeks away. Let us, as Catholics, be seen for who we are as we approach that date.

I will talk more about what I thought about the RNC and the protests outside Madison Square Garden next week. In the meantime, God Bless.

Cry of the Poor
"How can it be that even today there are still people dying of hunger? Condemned to illiteracy? Lacking the most basic medical care? Without a roof over their heads? . . .

"Christians must learn to make their act of faith in Christ by discerning His voice in the cry for help that rises from this world of poverty."
-- Pope John Paul II
Novo Millennio Ineunte, no. 50
